I like to be prepared. It is the boy scout motto and I was one. Being properly equipped and checking that equipment is one way of being prepared. Portaging and paddling a canoe, setting up, taking down camp, paddling, scouting, and scrambling good sketching sites is hard work.

So...

Each day at about 5 am, for an hour before breakfast, on alternate days; I resistance train against "weights" for an hour and the next day do a cardiovascular workout for an hour on an elliptical trainer.

There is also mental preparedness.. I am ready to get going.
