I wasn't getting the real feel of Savannah, The Roads, and the Atlantic saline sea line. I have a huge amount of material to cover: The northeast coast of Florida, the Panhandle, Louisiana Bayou, and the Texas Canyons. The acrylics are taking me up to a month to complete. I decided to flesh out the scene with sketches for potential or conceivable paintings that function as a sharper divide between the nurture of nature and the nature of nurture, or... how the town and country are of the same place coexistent.
I think it was a cute, little, idealistic, animated mouse that called it: "The Declaration of Interdependence." |

I think this might solve a visual problem that I've been experi-encing for which I have no words... perhaps "fullness of vision" or "completed vision"? I want to key: "I have no words for it and have you, believe you me."
A declaration of interdepen-dence?
Mixed media sketches might fill out the show and introduce things that are more reasonable, modern, quick, one sitting creations. Pencil sketched line drawing, brush and pen inked watercolour are less dear, less labour intensive than paintings. A litho apprentice printer would be a good addition to the studio but still no cost effective micro edition patronage support. |
